This mixed level class provides inspiration and community as everyone receives instruction based on skill level. Beginners will learn basic techniques such as wedging clay, centering, forming vessels, and glazing, while more experienced potters will work on more advanced forms and hone in on their own individual styles.
Form alteration and complex surface decorating techniques will be explored together with the instructor.
Students with at least two years of wheel-throwing experience, and teacher permission, will be allowed to register for this class prior to reaching grade 9.
Materials: Tuition includes all materials, firing, as well as access to glazes and underglazes.
