Music: Teen Guitar 1

Our progressive guitar classes can take students from absolute beginner to learning more advanced chord changes and strum patterns in many styles in just a few sessions!

In Teen Guitar 1 students can expect to learn the basics of the instrument including basic anatomy of the instrument, how to tune, basic chords, and basic strum patterns. Students will apply these to learning songs as a group and individually.

Whether the student has the goal of playing solo guitar or accompanying themselves singing, or playing in a band, this beginner course is an excellent place to start and offers the chance of progression in group guitar OR or can act as a great precursor for those that aren't sure they want to commit to private lessons yet.

Instructor: Jeremy Bellion

Instruments/Materials: Students should bring their own guitar, tuner, and pick. Students are encouraged to purchase Hal Leonard's Guitar Method, Second Edition, The Complete Book for this class as well as a Guitar Foot Rest.
