Work independently on projects of your choosing with the availability of a professional artist and instructor to help you find your creative voice. Learn how to cultivate ideas into artwork and participate in weekly group discussions to see the benefit of positive critique sessions.
This class is recommended for independent minded teens who have their own style and projects they wish to continue to make in a supportive group setting.
Instructor: Sarah AlexanderGrades: 7 to 12Class Dates: 8 Mondays, October 20 to December 8, 2025Time: 3 to 5 p.m.Materials: Please have your teen bring their sketchbook if they have one, along with examples of their own artwork. All other supplies will be provided by HCA. Everyone should bring project ideas or works in-progress.

Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
