Have you ever admired another artist's sketchbook but find the idea of starting your own sketchbook intimidating? Come join us for this fun class where we will connect you with your creative side and fuel you with lots of ideas!

Sketchbooks are all about experimentation, exploration, and imperfection—and that is what makes them beautiful! Join us for this enjoyable and relaxing class as we fill our sketchbooks with colorful sketches, vignettes, engaging exercises, and more! Our focus will be on setting up an enjoyable and sustainable habit.

The instructor will introduce common sketchbooking tools (pens, watercolors, pencils, etc.), but students are encouraged to bring their own favorite supplies. Feel free to bring project ideas or suggestions!

Instructor: Beth Gismondi
Beth holds a BA with honors in Art History and Neuroscience from Wellesley College and an EdM in Arts in Education from Harvard University. She also earned a Children's Book Illustration Certificate from the Rhode Island School of Design. Materials: Please bring a mixed media sketchbook (any portable size is fine) and two large binder clips. Other materials will be provided by HCA.
