Join this relaxing and creative painting workshop to learn how to paint on silk. All levels of experience are welcome as we will begin with lessons on technique and color mixing as everyone learns how to express the beauty of winter. 

The process of painting on silk is similar to the act of watercolor painting in how it reacts to the surface. Guidance will be given on how to fix your finished works and how to put them on display. 

Instructor: Lidia Mikhaylova
Lidia expresses the beauty of everyday life through painting, using color and shape to reflect the world around her. Born in Siberia, Lidia worked as a lawyer in Moscow for 15 years before moving to Latvia to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. Inspired by her surroundings, Lidia fell in love with painting. In 2019, she traveled to the U.S., where her art was exhibited. In America, Lidia continues to create, believing love and beauty can transform the world. (https://simpleartforms.com/)
