Music: Group Voice 4

Similar to our Group Voice 1-3 classes, this class reviews the foundational elements of singing, music theory & notation, musical expression & dynamics, but begins to extend the knowledge to incorporate more advanced concepts such as ear training, harmony, and beyond in both a group and solo singing context!

The class is perfect for beginners wanting to dip their toes in to see if singing is for them, or for those that think they may want to transfer into voice lessons but are a little young or not quite ready for the committment yet. This class is also a great technique and confidence builder for those interested in musical theater singing as they can use it for audition prep!

This class sets the foundation for Group Voice 5 (offered in Winter) which will extend to include concepts of intervals, more advanced harmonies, and basic chord study. The year culminates in Group Voice 6 where students will perform in a short showcase for friends & family!

Instructor: Mark Schiappucci

Materials: All Sheet Music will be provided. Students should bring a water bottle, a folder to hold their sheet music, and a straw (preferably reuseable) to each class.
