Ensemble: 4 or more classes per week

This full-year program is open to mid-year enrollment through Monday, February 3. Please contact our Director of Dance, Jessica Wilson (jessica@hopartscenter.org), for more information and pricing if your child is interested in joining.

Weekly Schedule: Tuesdays, Contemporary Studies; Wednesdays, Ballet and Pointe Repertory; Thursdays, Progressing Ballet Technique and Ballet/Pointe; Fridays, Ballet and Pointe Repertory; Saturdays, Ballet/Pointe Variations and Character.

Ensemble is encouraged to attend a minimum of four classes each week. Contact jessica@hopartscenter.org to set up your schedule.

In ballet, artistic expression in waltz, grand pirouettes, adagio, and allegro develops at this level. Lessons in creative dance improvisation and floor work are workshopped regularly in contemporary studies in addition to modern technique. Students are also exposed to regular enrichment throughout the year including dance history, music appreciation, acting, and guest teachers in various dance genres. Pre pointe and pointe students must be enrolled in three classes each week in order to develop and maintain the required strength and technique. Pointe students must be deemed physically ready by an HCA instructor.

If you are a new student seeking to join the ensemble program, you must make arrangements to audition for the HCA Dance Director, Jessica Wilson. Send an email to jessica@hopartscenter.org
