This full-year program is open to mid-year enrollment through Saturday, February 7. Please contact our Director of Dance, Jessica Wilson (jessica@hopartscenter.org), for more information on a potential schedule and pricing if your child is interested in joining.

Classwork continues to develop technique, and more advanced elements are introduced. Emphasis is placed on form, musicality, coordination, and working together as an ensemble while celebrating individual expression and developing artistry.

The weekly schedule provides an opportunity for balanced training:

  • Ballet: Students will work on classical ballet skills in a structured class format to include barre work, center, and elements across the floor.
  • Pointe: Further development of alignment, demi pointe work, and allegro prepare the dancer for pre pointe and pointe work.
  • Variations: An introduction to variations allow students to practice learning choreography.
  • Jazz: Isolations, laterals, cross floor progressions, and combinations in jazz dance further develop physicality, endurance, and form.
  • Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT): Conditioning supports training and longevity.

Elementary 3 students should attend at least two days each week. Pre pointe and pointe students are required to be enrolled in three days each week in order to develop and maintain strength and technique. Pointe students must be deemed physically ready by HCA instructors.

The winter/spring '26 Elementary 3 schedule is listed below.

  • Tuesday Ballet, 4:15-5:45 and Pre Pointe/Pointe 5:45-6:15
