Enter Stage Left Theater at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts announces its Spring 2025 comedy production "Sally Cotter & the Censored Stone" directed by Sandee Buckley.

Spots are limited to 25 cast members for grades 5-9. Up to that number, all who register for the play will be guaranteed a role.

An audition to select registered students for their roles will be held on Saturday, February 1, at 12:30 p.m. at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA.

Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and some Thursdays from 5:45 to 7 p.m. starting February 8th. Not every cast member may be called for every rehearsal. No rehearsals 2/15, 2/20, 4/19 & 4/24.

Performances will be Friday, 5/16 @ 7 pm, Saturday 5/17 @ 3 pm and Sunday 5/18 @ 3 pm

SYNOPSIS OF PLAY: 

When Sally falls asleep while reading books about a certain juvenile wizard, she dreams of being a Frogbull Academy of Sorcery student. She meets Headmaster Albatross Underdrawers, Gamekeeper Ruebenon Ryebread, and Professor Shiftia Shape there. But danger is lurking, and it's up to Sally and her new friends to defeat the schemes of the evil Lord Murderdeath. Will she become the hero like the one in her favorite series? And who are the mysterious Censors who keep rewriting the story as it goes along?
