Drawing and Sketching (Thursdays @1 PM)

Anyone can learn to draw! This class will welcome all levels of artists as we explore the foundations of drawing. This is a great class for any artist working in another medium (watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc). 

Whether you are a complete novice or more advanced, this class will meet you where you are. We will start by studying drawing fundamentals including line, gesture, shape, space, proportion, and perspective. As we continue, we'll expand into learning how to use value to create depth, texture, and mood in our artwork. This class will focus on observational drawing through a combination of exercises and longer projects.

Materials: Please bring a sketchbook. Other materials will be provided by HCA.
