Spend your afternoon immersed in dance with daily classes in ballet and pointe/pre pointe as well as jazz, contemporary, variations, character, hip hop, conditioning, Thai Bodywork, anatomy for dancers and more. We'll focus on technique, artistry, and expression as we learn repertoire and experiment with student choreography. Come explore dance in a fun and welcoming environment.

This is designed as a two-week program, but you may opt to participate in just one week. Dates:

For those participating in week 1, you can opt to extend your week to a full day of fun in the arts by enrolling in our ceramics program, Wheel Throwing Fundamentals, that also takes place at 34 Hayden Rowe. Supervised lunch takes place at 98 Hayden Rowe, so anyone staying for a full day at 34 Hayden Rowe can take advantage of the nearby town park to enjoy their lunch.

Location: Dance Studio, 34 Hayden Rowe St, Suite 302
Time: 12:30–5:30 p.m.
Dress Code: traditional ballet attire, jazz and contemporary attire (dance pants or leggings recommended for floor work), character skirt, ballet shoes/pointe shoes, jazz shoes, character shoes, yoga mat, notebook. Please bring your own packed snack/lunch. 

Materials: Each participant should bring: 

• 1-2 snack(s) (please do not pack any food that contains nuts) 
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it
• Yoga mat
• Notebook

If you register your child for a full-day, please also bring:

• A nut-free lunch
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishabay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
