Join us for this intermediate-level cartooning class, designed for students who wish to further develop their original character and story ideas into polished, professional-looking work. In this workshop-style class, students will learn about comic elements like pacing, splash pages, panel composition, and lettering, and will experiment with new tools and techniques.
Those in grades 3-5 will work on improving their drawing skills and character development, while students in grades 6-8 will focus on storyboarding and completing a 3+ page story arc by the end of the semester.
Students should have prior drawing experience, and/or have taken a cartooning class prior to registering.
