Ceramics: Middle School Foundations

Ceramics: Middle School Foundations 6th-8th (Tues 4PM)

This foundational class will introduce students to basic ceramic techniques. Initial focus will be on basic wheel-throwing skills such as wedging clay, centering, forming vessels, and glazing. Later in the session students will be introduced to hand-building techniques and can then choose to work on individual wheel-thrown or hand-built projects.

More advanced students will continue to expand their skills in throwing, hand-building and glazing techniques while working on individual and instructor inspired creations.
