Carving with Crandon–Beyond the Basics
Join professional printmaker and potter, Crandon Whitsitt-Lynch, in this 3-hour demonstration where you will explore various technical approaches to carving into clay forms. Crandon will present techniques to maximize the use of an assortment of distinct carving tools to achieve the desired aesthetic. He will also illustrate ways to avoid common issues that can occur during the carving process. Additionally, there will be emphasis on a variety of ways to avoid common issues that can occur during the carving process. Overall, these methods will help to further confidence, consistency and advanced design to all of your future carving projects!
