Ballet & Jazz 3 (Thursday - Studio 34)

We begin with a 45-minute ballet lesson. Students will work on skills in a structured class format to include barre work, center, and elements across the floor. Emphasis is placed on form, musicality, coordination, expression, and working together as a corps. A portion of class remains dedicated to creative dance improvisation where individual expression is encouraged in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Students round out the hour with jazz dance. Isolations and cross floor progressions further develop strength, flexibility and coordination. It is a wonderful and fun way to reinforce a strong dance foundation. Students may opt to enroll in two classes a week. Students are welcome to join mid-session while space allows. Contact info@hopartscenter.org for more information.
