Play and experiment with fiber arts in this fun vacation week program! Work in a small group setting with award-winning weaver Dahlia Popovits—experience weaving, crocheting, and embroidery and working on various looms. We'll make bookmarks, bracelets, potholders, and more!

For a full day of fun in the arts, join one of our afternoon programs, Props & Set Design: Show in a Week (Twisted Fairy Tales, grades 5–9) at 98 Hayden Rowe Street, or Clay Creations: Handbuilding (grades 3–6), at 34 Hayden Rowe. A free walking service led by our volunteers is available for those 5th grade or younger who sign up for full-day options at our two locations, a little over ½ mile apart. Students will have time for a supervised lunch between programs.

Location: 98 Hayden Rowe Street
Program Time: 9–11:30 a.m.
Drop-off: Between 8:45–9 a.m.
Pick-up: Between 11:30–11:45 a.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.

Materials: Tuition includes $50 materials fee, but each participant should bring: 

• 1-2 snack(s) (please do not pack any food that contains nuts) 
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it

If you register your child for a full-day, please also bring:

• A nut-free lunch
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)

• Injury Waiver: You must agree to the HCA injury waiver to register for classes. 
• Photo Release Agreement: You can agree to the HCA's Photo Release Agreement during registration.

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishabay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
