Combine science with art in this week filled with creative chemistry and colorful experiments. We'll focus on the creation process as we explore different materials and subject matter, getting messy along the way! Throughout the week, we'll use magnifying tools to inspect items from the natural world and answer questions, including how a volcano erupts and what happens if we use eye droppers to apply paint on different materials.

For a full day of fun in the arts, join our afternoon program, Musical Theater Performers Presents: Peter Pan (grades 1 and 2), that also takes place at 98 Hayden Rowe. Students will have time for a supervised lunch between programs.

Week 4: July 21–25
Location: 98 Hayden Rowe Street, the Farmhouse (the white building at the front of our property by Hayden Rowe St.)
Program Time: 9–11:30 a.m.
Drop-off: Between 8:45–9 a.m.
Pick-up: Between 11:30–11:45 a.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.

Materials: All materials will be provided, but each participant should bring: 

• 1-2 snack(s) (please do not pack any food that contains nuts) 
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it

If you register your child for a full-day, please also bring:

• A nut-free lunch
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)

• Photo Release Agreement: You can agree to the HCA's Photo Release Agreement during registration.
