Art Explorers: Making Mythical Monsters (AM, 6/30–7/3)

Monday June 30

Other dates...

9:00 AM  –  11:30 AM

Join this imaginative week that is all about designing your fantastical works of art! We'll get inspiration from all around us, including insects, the worlds of Pokémon, Wings of Fire, and stories about folklore and mythology. Through drawing, painting, and sculpture, we'll make our designs. From dragons, unicorns, and one-eyed monsters and the magical worlds they live in!

For a full day of fun in the arts, join one of our afternoon programs, Dance Adventure: Story to Stage (grades K to 2), that takes place at our dance studio, 34 Hayden Rowe Street, or Musical Theater Performers Presents: The Many Moods of Inside Out (grades 1 and 2), that takes place at 98 Hayden Rowe. A free walking service led by our volunteers is available for those 5th grade and younger who sign up for full-day options at our two locations, a little over ½ mile apart. Students will have time for a supervised lunch between programs.
