In preparation for the Annie Jr auditions, HCA is providing this audition workshop. Students attending this workshop will come away with greater confidence and tools to practice their audition prior to the real audition on October 28th. 

In this workshop, students will practice improv, do cold readings from the script, get feedback on their song, and practice learning a musical theater dance audition combo.

In order to avoid any conflicts of interest, this workshop will be led by two musical theater instructors who will NOT be part of any casting decisions for the Annie Jr. production. 

Students attending this workshop must come prepared to sing an unaccompanied Broadway Song (preferably not from the Annie show) that fits their personality. Short songs are best, so if your song is over 2.5 minutes, please cut it shorter. 

Workshop participants should bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable clothing and footwear. There will be a brief snack/lunch break provided. Students must provide their own snack/lunch.
