Our Adaptive Art Class offers a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities are encouraged to explore their creativity through art. The class focuses on flexibility in instruction, allowing each participant to engage with the creative process in a way that works best for them.

Through activities like painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media, participants are guided by experienced instructors who adapt their teaching style to meet a range of learning needs. The emphasis is on personal expression, creative exploration, and building confidence, rather than on technical skill or a finished product.

This class values the individuality of each artist and fosters a strong sense of community and connection. It’s a space where creativity is celebrated, differences are welcomed, and everyone is free to express themselves authentically.

No previous art experience is necessary—just a willingness to create and enjoy the process.

Please note: The HCA does not provide support services during this program. If you or your student typically requires a 1:1 assistant or support person, we require that the parent/caregiver/aide remain for the class to assist. A section in the registration form allows for the person's name to be listed. We welcome the parent/caregiver who wants to participate actively in the class!

We are able to offer this class at a significant discount thanks to our generous sponsors, Eversource and Dell Technologies.
