Chair yoga is a rewarding practice for all! It is especially helpful if you are working with physical limitations or if you want a practice you can use at your desk. We practice asanas or poses, breath work, relaxation and meditation. Various levels of practice and modifications are offered as per your current capacity.
Benefits include improvement in range of motion, strength, flexibility and balance, and reduction of stress. Chair yoga classes are also a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive community!
No experience needed, this is an all levels class.

DROP-INS WELCOME: If there is sufficient space, drop-ins are welcome to attend. The drop-in fee is $25 per class. You may bring cash, check, or card to pay in person or buy a one-time class online. Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes. Assistance is awarded based on demonstrated need, motivation, and potential benefit to the student. Apply for a scholarship here.
