Expand and explore your watercolor skills through new and different ways to use the medium. Through long term projects, build on your skills in composition, layering, and color usage. Learn how to talk about your work through group critiques. Must have previous watercolor experience and drawing basics. This is an intermediate watercolor painting class. Suggested pre-requisite classes: Watercolor: Beginner, Drawing & Sketching.

Instructor: Sarah Alexander, a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist working on paper, canvas, and sculpting with steel. Sarah's work is in private collections and has been shown extensively throughout New England and abroad. Her work has been published by North Light Books and is featured in Incite, the Best of Mixed Media 1, 2 & 3. Sarah is a core artist member at Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.

Materials: Students must bring their own materials. A materials list will be provided and your instructor will review material needs in the first class. If you already have supplies, you can bring them with you, otherwise some supplies will be provided for that first class.
