Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll receive personalized coaching on composition, values, washes, contrast, texture, and material choices. Dive into a hands-on exploration of color, papers, brushes, and drawing as you discover new watercolor techniques. All skill levels are welcome, and returning students get tailored consultations. Choose to create vibrant landscapes or expressive portraits, unlocking hidden talents or deepening your artistic skills in a supportive, inspiring environment.

Dates: 5 Mondays, November 3 to December 1, 2025
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Materials: Students must supply their own materials. For the first class, beginners do not need to buy anything as your instructor will be reviewing all materials in that first session. Continuing students should bring all materials on the first class.
Everyone should plan to bring photographs of subject matter you are interested in painting.

• Waiting List: If this class is sold out, it will say so below and will not allow you to register. If so, please add your name to our waitlist here. 

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
