Join this dynamic, hands-on painting class where everyone — including the instructor — works behind an easel. Paint directly from observation as you capture a still life arranged with beautiful seasonal flowers. Each session focuses on creating a fresh painting, helping you build confidence, spontaneity, and stronger skills in light, shading, and composition. Watching the instructor paint alongside you offers a rare opportunity to see techniques in action and refine your own style.

For intermediate to advanced oil painters. This class can be done standing or seated.

Instructor: Marion Buricatu
Marion was born into an artistic family in France and moved to the US with her family in 2001. She took classes with painting teachers before becoming one herself and earned a modern art certificate at the MOMA. Marion is an enthusiastic artist and instructor with expertise in art history and a variety of artistic mediums, including oils, acrylic, and mixed media.
