Improv and Impulses is an acting class designed to help students trust their instincts, follow their impulses, and rediscover the joy of performing through improvisation. Through playful, supportive improv exercises, students will explore bold choice-making while strengthening their use of voice, movement, and acting techniques to enhance overall performance skills.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, this class builds confidence, sharpens acting abilities, and fosters a strong sense of ensemble and community. Throughout the session, students will deepen their connection to character, emotion, and storytelling as they bring scenes and characters to life with authenticity, creativity, and spontaneity.
