Step into the spotlight! This fun and educational theater program dives into acting, improvisation, voice production, and movement. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out on your theater journey, you will build confidence, build upon your acting skills, and collaborate with peers to bring scenes and characters to life.
We'll end the session with a showcase for family and friends.
Instructor: Alyssa Rae Surrette is a Boston-based actor who has worked for companies such as New Repertory Theatre and Reagle Music Theatre. Credits include Me and My Girl, Singing in the Rain, Fiddler on the Roof, and many more. She is also no stranger to the New York stage as her credits include performances at Alvin Ailey and Carnegie Hall. Alyssa received her BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory and attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts majoring in theater in high school.Grades: 7 to 9Class Dates: 10 Mondays, September 15 to December 1, 2025No Class: September 22 and October 13Time: 4:30 to 6 p.m.
