This small mentorship group enables students to learn more about intermediate and advanced composition concepts as they relate to any genre of music. 

Students will receive one-on-one feedback and assistance on individual assignments, but also come together to work together on group projects. 

This class is for anyone who is interested in songwriting and composing. We do recommend that students have a basic understanding of music notation, music theory, play an instrument, and/or sing in an ensemble. For students not able to demonstrate these requirements, an interview may be scheduled to see if the class will be a good fit for this student by emailing  info@hopartscenter.org.

Materials: Students should bring either a notebook & pencil or an iPad/tablet each week (if possible). Please also download the free app, Soundtrap Studio before you join.
