Move beyond the fundamentals as you dive deeper into the technical aspect of painting. We will build skills including palette management, composition, and planning your paintings. Participants can expect more lengthly critiques from the instructor, receiving individualized attention to grow your confidence. 

Trained by masters in impressionism and plein air painting, Marion will bring her field experience to this next level class. 

Instructor: Marion Buricatu
Marion was born into an artistic family in France and moved to the US with her family in 2001. She took classes with painting teachers before becoming one herself and earned a modern art certificate at the MOMA. Marion is an enthusiastic artist and instructor with expertise in art history and a variety of artistic mediums, including oils, acrylic, and mixed media. No Class Date: February 19
Materials: Students must supply their own materials. For the first class, beginners do not need to buy anything as your instructor will be reviewing all materials in that first session. Continuing students should bring all materials on the first class.
