Oil painting is a must-have skill for any artist, no matter their style. It was a favorite of history's greatest painters, and it lets you create incredible textures, depth, and vibrant colors. Experienced artist, Meredith Fitzgerald, will help you dive into important topics like value (light and shadow), color theory, color mixing, composition (how you arrange elements), and the principles of light. These skills will give you the tools to take your art to the next level. You'll be practicing these skills in class with various subjects and styles, including landscapes, still life, people, abstract work, and more.
