Join this lively mixed level class for inspiration and camaraderie as you work in oil or acrylic paint. The instructor provides individual coaching based on skill level, giving every student the time they need. Beginners are set up with projects and techniques to learn while continuing students receive support and guidance on existing work. With instruction happening at multiple levels, everyone in the class benefits and learns from each other. It is much more than just a painting class!

Instructor: Marion Buricatu
Marion was born into an artistic family in France and moved to the US with her family in 2001. She took classes with painting teachers before becoming one herself and earned a modern art certificate at the MOMA. Marion is an enthusiastic artist and instructor with expertise in art history and a variety of artistic mediums, including oils, acrylic, and mixed media. No Class Dates: October 2 and 16
Materials: Students must supply their own materials. For the first class, beginners do not need to buy anything as your instructor will be reviewing all materials in that first session. Once you decide your medium, a materials list will be sent out. Continuing students should bring all materials on the first class.

  • Injury Waiver: You must agree to the HCA injury waiver to register for classes. 

  • Photo Release Agreement: You can agree to the HCA's Photo Release Agreement during registration.

  • Waiting List: If this class is sold out, it will say so below and will not allow you to register. If so, please add your name to our waitlist here.
