The HCA’s Hopkins School Early Release Workshop 

Our early-release programs encourage creative expression. Our goals are to encourage life-long learning, develop and promote self-expression, and challenge students to develop their own ideas and ultimately communicate them through the arts. Details for this workshop are below:

Musical Theatre Audition Workshop
Level up your audition skills in this early release program. Prepare for your next audition as you get introduced to audition basics. Everyone will work on preparing one to two songs (32 bar cuts) as well as a monologue. We'll also learn a short (1–1.5 minute) dance combination from a Broadway show, and if time allows we'll practice cold reads as well! Leave this class with skills ready to use at your next auditions.

Grades: 4 to 5

Please note: A free walk-up service will be provided for Hopkins Elementary to the site of this class, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton. Please make sure you have completed the school dismissal change form at Hopkins Elementary ASAP so that your child can be walked to the HCA. Use "HCA- Hopkinton Center for the Arts" as the person authorized to pick up your child.

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishabay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
