Landscape Fundamentals in Watercolor

Saturday February 1

Other dates...

10:00 AM  –  4:00 PM

Explore your creativity and the methods of expressing a landscape, likely the most popular subject for artists of all mediums, as well as the changing seasons in these one-day watercolor painting workshops. Beginner or experienced artists will receive individualized coaching, with topics including composition, values, various wash options, contrast, textures and the choice of supplies.

Discover how to break down a complex landscape and capture the tranquil charm of a snowy landscape or the fresh blossoms of spring. Subjects can include forests, farmland, seascapes, mountains, gardens, and more. While various painting approaches are reviewed, the instructor tends to specialize in tightly rendered, realistic work, and photo references will be used for inspiration.

Register for one session or both and receive a discount. There is a place in the registration process where you can indicate your date choice if registering for just one workshop.
