Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”

This 2 week musical theater production will include 2 public performances on Saturday July 11th. Students receive music and dance instruction and learn and reinforce basic acting skills, stagecraft, and cooperation/team-building experiences. 

Beginners and more experienced performers are all welcome!

Program dates: 
Week 1: June 29–July 3 (Please note: This program will occur on Friday, July 3)
Week 2: July 6–10
TWO public performances on Saturday, July 11 at 12 Noon and 2:30 p.m.
Program Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Drop-off: Between 8:45–9 a.m.
Pick-up: Between 3–3:15 p.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.
Location: 98 Hayden Rowe Street
Materials: All materials will be provided, but each participant should bring: 

• 2 snack(s) (no nuts please) 
• Lunch (no nuts please)
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)
• Wear clothes that are comfortable and washable

• Photo Release Agreement: You can agree to the HCA's Photo Release Agreement during registration.
