Join this exploration of all of the instrument families: strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, singing and more! We'll increase our musical skills through hands-on instruction, games, movement, and singing.

We'll start by reviewing our music FUNdamentals, before diving into melody, dynamics, expression, performance, and introduce even more singing!

While we recommend students taking this class took our Fall session of Instrument Playground, this class is open to any student in grades 1 and 2 that wants more music in their lives!

This winter session prepares students for our Spring where we will apply all of our musical knowledge and transition to exploring song form, composition (songwriting), and work on performance elements. The Spring session will lead to a small showcase for family & friends.
