The HCA’s Hopkinton Early Release Workshop 

Our early-release programs encourage creative expression. Our goals are to encourage life-long learning, develop and promote self-expression, and challenge students to develop their own ideas and ultimately communicate them through the arts. Details for this workshop are below:

Fabric Painting Workshop
Spend this early release day creatively decorating either a bag (supplied by the teacher) or an item of clothing (that you can bring) with your own design! We'll use our imagination, fabric paints, and a blank canvas bag to bring life to a bag that you will take home at the end of the workshop.

Grades: 4 to 8
Date & Time: Friday, January 24, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Instructor: Lidia Mikhaylova
Materials: All materials included in tuition.
Please note: A free walk-up service will be provided for Hopkins Elementary to the site of this class, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton. Please make sure you have completed the school dismissal change form at Hopkins Elementary ASAP so that your child can be walked to the HCA. Use "HCA- Hopkinton Center for the Arts" as the person authorized to pick up your child.

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishabay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes. Assistance is awarded based on demonstrated need, motivation, and potential benefit to the student. Apply for a scholarship here.
