Other dates...

10:15 AM  –  11:45 AM

Designed to further develop a foundation for technique, terminology, and expression. Each class focuses on classical ballet in a structured format to include barre work, center work, and elements across the floor with a goal to develop posture, an understanding of proper line, balance, strength, mobility, and coordination. The last 30-minutes of each class is dedicated to jazz dance set to an upbeat playlist. It’s a fun way to support to the dancer’s physicality and endurance while increasing their awareness of form. Lesson plans are designed to instill the joy of dance while attention is given to creativity, musicality, expression, and the ability to work together as an ensemble.

At this level dancers will benefit from attending two classes each week, choosing from another Elementary 2 level course.

Students at this level have several performing opportunities including The Nutcracker in December and the January Showcase on Saturday, January 24th. Costume and production fees are not included in tuition.
