Designed to develop a foundation for dance principles and terminology in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Classical ballet skills are presented in a structured class format to include technique, center work, and elements across the floor while an emphasis is placed on creative expression, musicality, coordination, and working together as an ensemble.

Each week concludes with a fun exploration of the fundamentals of jazz dance technique, free dance, and improvisation exercises allowing classmates to celebrate one another’s individuality.

Students will have the opportunity to perform in a Spring Concert (dates TBD). Production fees are not included in the tuition.

While we recommend students have taken Dance Foundations 1 before this class, Dance Foundations 2 remains open to any student in grades 1 and 2 with the itch to dance!
