Ensemble students enroll in a 34-week course of study. In ballet, artistic expression in waltz, grand pirouettes, adagio, and allegro develops at this level. Pointe, character, modern, jazz and hip hop dance are offered weekly, and lessons in creative dance improvisation and floor work are incorporated in regular practice. Students are also exposed to regular enrichment throughout the year including dance history, music appreciation, and acting.

Ensemble students should attend at least four days each week. Pointe students are required to be enrolled in three days each week in order to develop and maintain strength and technique. Pointe students must be deemed physically ready by HCA instructors. Please contact jessica@hopartscenter.org to discuss your schedule.
