Join our afternoon-only vocal performance ensemble focused on singing a varied repertoire to grow as musicians and performers! Inspired by HCA's adult choir, Treblemakers, we'll explore songs in different genres of vocal music including musical theater, classical, folk, pop, rock, and chorale style pieces. Discover the basics of music theory and explore important musical concepts such as melody, rhythm, as well as singing in canon and harmony!

Our days will also include warm ups, games, movement, and crafts. There will be solo opportunities and student accompaniment, and by the end of the week we'll create a small production to showcase our work to friends and family. 

For a full day of fun in the arts, join our morning musical theater program, Show in a Week: Musical Movies (grades 3–6). Students will have time for a supervised outdoor lunch between programs.

Program Time: 12:15–3 p.m. (note: afternoon only)
Drop-off: 12:15 p.m.
Pick-up: Between 3–3:15 p.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.

Materials: All materials will be provided, but each participant should: 

• Bring 1-2 snack(s) (please do not pack any food that contains nuts) 
• Bring lunch (if registering for a morning program too)
• Bring a reusable water bottle with your child's name on it
• Wear clothes that are comfortable and washable

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
