Artist Demonstration: Drawing on Historical Inspiration

Friday March 14

Other dates...

7:00 PM  –  9:00 PM

Join artist and teacher Shea Justice for an evening of fun and creativity. Justice will share his amazing stories and walk participants through creating his well-known scroll drawings, combining text and images. He will also demonstrate his art-making techniques and narrative art. Using Chinese rice paper scrolls, Justice explores current events and historical documents and the motives and meaning behind the words that have shaped American policies.

Participation in drawing on the scroll with the artist is encouraged to create a community piece of art.

Refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
