Join us for the unique HCA experience—a week of creative programming spanning all of our departments —visual arts, drama, movement, music, and games! Each week will be based around a fun theme. Our week concludes with an art show and final performance before pickup on Friday. 

Our Timeless Tales week takes you on a journey through beloved tales including Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Dr. Seuss, and Annie.

Through drawing, painting, and more, we will use the elements of art to capture everything from whimsical Seussian landscapes to curious Wonderland creatures to the enchanting atmosphere of the wizarding world. Each project will invite you to reimagine these magical realms in their own artistic style.

In the theater portion of camp, discover your inner performer as we create short scenes and learn iconic songs from the classic and heartwarming tale of Annie. We will work together to bring this timeless tale to life as we hone our acting and singing skills and journey through Annie's world of resilience, hope, and adventure.

Grades: 1–6 (students will be split up and placed in groups based on age)
Week 3: July 13–17
Location: 98 Hayden Rowe Street
Program Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Drop-off: Between 8:45–9 a.m.
Pick-up: Between 3–3:15 p.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.
Materials: All materials will be provided, but each participant should bring: 

• 2 snack(s) (no nuts please) 
• Lunch (no nuts please)
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)
• Wear clothes that are comfortable and washable

• Injury Waiver: You must agree to the HCA injury waiver to register for classes. 
• Photo Release Agreement: You can agree to the HCA's Photo Release Agreement during registration.

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
