Join us for the unique HCA experience—a week of creative programming spanning all of our departments —visual arts, drama, movement, music, and games! Each week will be based around a fun theme. Our week concludes with an art show and final performance before pickup on Friday.

There's no place like the HCA during Week 4! Follow the yellow brick road into a world of imagination as we explore the many wonders of Oz.

In the art studio, we will draw inspiration from Dorothy's farm, the glittering Emerald City, and everything in between. Using paint, pencils, markers, and mixed media, we'll design fantastical animals, "spellbinding" magical tools, and vibrant landscapes that celebrate both the classic Wizard of Oz and the reimagined world of Wicked.

For the theater portion of the program, our groups will work on two projects:

• The younger campers will focus on the original Wizard of Oz, preparing for our Summer Stock production with a final performance on Saturday, July 25.
• Older campers will dive into Wicked, exploring the characters of Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero and more! Through games, scene work, and improv, campers will learn performance skills and collaborate to bring a small performance to life.

Grades: 1–6 (students will be split up and placed in groups based on age)
Week 4: July 20–24
Location: 98 Hayden Rowe Street
Program Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Drop-off: Between 8:45–9 a.m.
Pick-up: Between 3–3:15 p.m. 
Late Pickups: Incur a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $5 a minute after that.
Materials: All materials will be provided, but each participant should bring: 

• 2 snack(s) (no nuts please) 
• Lunch (no nuts please)
• A reusable water bottle with your child's name on it
• Sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray) and bug spray (optional)
• Wear clothes that are comfortable and washable

Scholarships: The HCA believes the arts are for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the Dora Kishibay Garabedian Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund, we can assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes.
