Refine your college and professional auditions in this two week performance-preparation bootcamp!

Led by Emerson College Alumni Brittany Forsmo, Trust The Process is for the actor who is ready to get to work and grow into the performer they are meant to be. If you are about to dive head first into college auditions, have ever been curious what it's like to audition professionally, or need some guidance on your performance package- this is the workshop to be in. Gain confidence in your material through exercises seen in BFA level college courses, discuss professional theatre etiquette with guest speakers, and break down the unspoken rules of auditioning that have been holding you back. We'll work through individual monologue work, dance calls, and edit resumes and headshots. Let's do the work to elevate the actor and auditionee you are. 

Instructor: Brittany Forsmo is an Emerson Alumni whose roots start at the beginning of the marathon- Hopkinton, MA. Growing up in HCA productions, Brittany has stayed true to the New England area by engaging in summer stocks in New Hampshire and new works around Boston. Her love for acting was met with a passion to unmask the process of auditioning in front of universities and professional productions. Brittany wants to deconstruct why these auditions bring fear and pressure, and additionally build up the actor that goes through the process in the meanwhile. She aims to break down the barriers of the unknown, enhance the actor inside each student, and prepare each actor for a successful collegiate and/or professional audition.
