Acrylics are a wonderful medium for beginners and intermediate students. Flexible, forgiving, and fast-drying, acrylics make it easy to explore your creativity. In this weekly class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of painting, including value, color theory, color mixing, and composition. All materials are provided in this class.

Ready to explore painting with acrylics? This class is designed for both beginners and intermediate students who want to strengthen their skills while working in a fun and supportive environment.

Instructor Megann Filios will guide you through the essentials—value, color theory, color mixing, and composition—while showing you how flexible and forgiving acrylic paints can be. Whether you’re brand new or looking to build on your experience, this class is for you!

The course is structured to give you both instruction and freedom:

• First 3 weeks: Focused lessons on the fundamentals.
• Final 5 weeks: Work on your own project with individual coaching tailored to your level.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with new confidence, skills, and a painting you can be proud of.
